For the longest time, Stardew Valley existed as a single-player game in which players wanted to grow their farm, interact with villagers, and start a family. However, it was announced last year that the game would receive a multiplayer update, and last week it was announced that the version of the switch will be available soon.
It has been announced that the update has already been submitted to Nintendo for approval. According to a game developer, this update should hit the Nintendo Switch later this week, or more specifically, December 1
According to the game's developer, "You can invite 1-3 friends to join you in the valley, either from the front or from an existing single-player save. Each player has their own lodge on the farm and you can work together to achieve common goals such as farming, mining, fishing, foraging and festival participation!
The update also brings with it some changes to the single-player aspect of the game, such as: Eg a night market, new character events, secret events, new collections, and above all, your horses can now wear hats! PC gamers can enjoy the multiplayer feature for some time, and the switch will be next. For PS4 and Xbox One players, your update seems to be coming later.
