Time flies when you’re having fun! We have been into Fortnite Season 4 for two weeks now and the first major content update has arrived.
The downtime for the v14.10 patch has expired and it did not disappoint. There are a number of updates to watch out for, including some major map changes.
Wave goodbye to Frenzy Farms! A large county in the northeastern part of the map has gone up high in the air, and the room now looks very different.
The new POI from Stark Industries has been released. This location includes several high-tech buildings and lots of loot. Check out the official trailer below:
Aside from Tony Stark’s famous grounds, the rest of this elevated property is mostly covered by mountains, trees, and a newly formed lake. Heart Lake’s landmark is surrounded by a few wooden houses and exudes a serious Loot Lake vibe.
Elsewhere on Fortnite Island, another smaller Marvel-themed landmark has popped up. Heroes Park is located next to the agency building east of Weeping Woods and is based on a location in the Avengers video game.
A selection of new mythic abilities were also added in the v14.10 update. These include Thor’s Mjolnir Strike, Iron Man’s Repulsor Gauntlets, and more.
Caster and analyst @ShyoWager tested Thor’s new trick and let’s just say he looks a little scary.

The new Mythic items are currently unavailable in Arena and Competitive modes, but Doom’s loot and all of the vaults will remain.
As the battle between good and evil intensifies, Galactus has sent its Gatherer Drones to patrol the Fortnite world.
According to Epic Games, “these gatherer drones are designed to collect loot, but they also plunder themselves: if they are defeated, they are deactivated and transform into their weapon form”. Oh, and be careful, once deactivated, if left standing too long they will explode.
