Since T-Mobile closed its Buyout The merger with Sprint gave former Sprint customers access to T-Mobile’s larger network and other rewards, but T-Mobile subscribers did not get much from it. That will eventually change as T-Mobile appears to have allowed some customers to roam on Sprint’s legacy network.

Reports came out last night that Sprint is now showing up as a network option for iPhones connected to T-Mobile. Not all Android devices can switch between networks / bands, but phones should Automatically connect to previous Sprint Towers when unable to connect to T-Mobile̵

T-Mobile has not officially announced the feature yet, possibly because there are still some issues. Some people who manually switched their phones to the Sprint network are not getting a data connection, and the rollout appears to be regional for now. Even so, it’s exciting to see T-Mobile customers finally benefiting from the company’s recent acquisition.
