The battery life of cell phones is getting a bit longer each year, but there are always a handful of people who want more. Just as it is, once you stop the fear of battery charging once and for all, this simply massive energizer phone turned up at MWC to really prove that a phone can really have too much juice.

Now be clear as the Energizer P18K shares Pop Under the same brand name as the well-known battery maker, the phone is actually manufactured by Avenir Telecom, a French manufacturer of equipment that out-licenses the Energizer name for use on its phones ,

Beyond that, this is not the case For the first time, Avenir has put a dumb battery pack into a phone to attract attention, though the P18K's absurd dimensions make it the company's most extraordinary model to date. As the name implies, the headline of the P18K is a 18,000 mAh battery that Avenir claims to offer up to 90 hours of talk time, 100 hours of music playback, and two days of video playback – all in a single charge. And in standby Avenir promises full 50 days of juice.

But all that energy comes with honestly absurd crowds. The Pop 18K is listed with a thickness of about 28 mm, but if you pick it up, it feels so much bigger. Stacked it is higher than three normal phones (depending on the model) or two lip balm sticks, and while the curved sides try to make the phone feel a bit less like a brick, its sharp edges and strong impression are incredibly awkward to hold.

In fact, the P18K's battery is so large that it limits the limits of what certain countries and airlines allow you to fly on an airplane. And even if Avenir claims that the P18K has a kind of fast-charging technology, even at the best speeds in the industry, you'd be lucky if you could go from zero to 100 percent in less than three hours.

The battery was not enough, the P18K is also supplied with a motorized pop-up selfie cam, although unfortunately I could not try it myself, because a nonsense, who tried the phone in front of me, it broke, so I had to look up a dummy model.

As for the phone's other specifications, the P18K is equipped with Android 9 Pie, an Octa-Core Mediatek MT P70 processor, 6GB of RAM, 128GB of memory, a microSD slot and two rear view cameras. Of course, the P18K is also equipped with Reverse Charge, so you can use the excess juice of the phone to round off other devices.

So if you really need a phone this is urgently needed It will take more than a week between cargoes or something stupid to make our next camping trip. Congratulations, your Ross has arrived. Or you could get an external battery like a normal person. Just do not let me know that the battery is not removable. What are you trying to start an apocalypse?

The P18K is expected to go on sale in the summer for 600 euros, though there are no plans to bring them to the US, you may need to go on a pilgrimage to France to buy one.
