The best Android games of the week while Facebook is being renounced

Welcome to our Weekly Column, where YouTuber NimbleThor contains a short list of the best new mobile games for your Android device. Whether you love time-wasters or hardcore shooters, here's something to keep your fingers crossed.

Facebook has been in a downward spiral for months, as we find that there is no reason to spend hours on a platform that does not care about our privacy, and that seems to get out of style quickly.

So, what should you do instead? Well, we've found four great Android games that are sure to grab your attention and help you get started on Facebook on a regular basis. Let's go!

Special Forces Group 2

  • Size: 331 MB
  • Price: Free
  • Genre: FPS / Action / LAN | Offline Playable

This is a Counter-Strike -like first-person shooter filled with tons of content: 32 maps, nine game modes, many weapons, local and online multiplayer action and even more Option to create custom skins for weapons.

The graphic impresses no one who has played a game in the last decade. However, the controls work as expected and can be customized to suit your style. I liked the addition of a standard auto-fire option, which makes it easier to knock out enemies when you aim at them, as this is a great way to launch this shooter via a touch screen. Once you're a pro, you can switch to manual mode and compete with the best online players.

Overall, it's a great shooter with much more content and gameplay than most of its competitors.

Super Cat Tales 2

  • Size: 186 MB
  • Price: Free
  • Genre: Adventure / Platformer / Indie | Playable offline

Super Cat Tales 2 is a delightful adventure platformer with a beautiful retro art style and over 100 levels to keep you occupied. The game has a sophisticated control scheme that you can use to run, sprint and jump to move quickly.

You also need to switch between cats in each level and their unique properties use progress skills. This is important if you want to figure out how to complete the levels to perfection and collect all the hidden "bells" to unlock new levels. I really enjoyed this system and the game as a whole.

Hexa Knot

  • Size: 64 MB
  • Price: Free
  • Genre: Puzzle | Offline playable

Hexa Knot is a simple, fun, and relaxing 500-level puzzle game in which you move the tiles until the colored lines on the tiles are all properly connected.

The difficulty level is well balanced. The level gets more and more tricky in level 15 until you find the "system" to solve these puzzles. After that, the levels slowly become lighter again. It's a challenging game, but not so challenging that you get stuck for minutes. If you want to sit back after a long day, this is a good way.

Chainstroke

  • Size: 900 MB
  • Price: Free
  • Genre: RPG / Tactics / Gacha | Requires Internet Access

This is a tactical gacha role-playing game with chess-like combat, a pretty interesting linear story (though it can sometimes be unimaginative), polished graphics and animations, and tons of quests, event dungeons, and asynchronous PvP. "

The game is almost too easy to start with, and there are several in-app purchases to unlock new heroes faster than you can earn them. Aside from that, it's pretty good: at the heart of gameplay, you control our heroes instead of just typing skill symbols, and experienced players argue that the game is less profit-to-point gains than the Summoner War . Overall, I had more fun with the game than I thought.
