Treyarch’s Tony Flame confirmed on Twitter that there are changes to the Flinch system in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War.
In a tweet, Flame says the system has been redesigned so as not to compromise your target while taking damage.
It’s now more of a feedback mechanism to understand damage “without affecting the target position of your weapon”.
He says, “Your gun moves with your screen to stay on target. No more flinching headshots. ”
Some content creators, including ourselves who were part of the Alpha, found that the way Flinch worked has changed, especially when it came to headshots. With this system, there is now the feedback to be hit, but your goal is not affected.
Overall, this is a big change for Black Ops Cold War.
