If you’re looking to put a ton of money into a new Ferrari, you might as well make sure it’s spot on. For most, this means choosing a color, interior, and possibly some special rims. One “discerning European customer” went one step further and ordered a fully customized car directly from Maranello.

7;s called Omologata, and Ferrari said it had spent two years designing the car from the ground up when it announced it on Friday. Although the car shares its underbody, windshield, and headlights with the 812 Superfast, most of it – including its hand-molded aluminum body – is entirely custom.

Ferrari, in particular, contained a handful of design features that were intended to pay tribute to the brand’s racing heritage. The exterior features a custom paint job and retro window louvers, while the interior features elements reminiscent of Ferrari’s racing cars of the 50s and 60s.
