The first custom NVIDIA RTX 3080 cards from Asus’ TUF GAMING range have appeared

Custom RTX 3080 GPUs through Asus’ TUF GAMING range have been released with open pre-orders if you want to secure one now at a premium price.

As we near the launch date of NVIDIA̵

7;s flagship offering for the RTX 30 series of GPUs, PC game groups are already working on the line’s first custom cards and product pages. It’s available at a premium price, but Asus offers two custom versions of the RTX 3080 from its TUF GAMING range.

ASUS was recently spotted on the B&H Photo / Video / Pro Audio website and has unveiled two custom models of the NVIDIA RTX 3080, the middle ground and standard of the new high-performance RTX 30 line. Here are the two cards that appeared on the website.

For example, suppose the RTX 3080 O10G is an overclocked version of the card, but at this point there is no technical specification on the product pages. It’s worth noting that these are also a bit more expensive than what NVIDIA is offering, which will apparently start at $ 699.

It remains to be seen what kind of bells and whistles come with the ASUS versions of the NVIDIA cards, but both cards are some of the first custom editions to hit the store pages at this point. Currently, NVIDIA plans to launch the RTX 3080 on September 17, 2020 and the more powerful RTX 3090 BFGPU on September 24 of the following week. There is currently no official date set for the more economical RTX 3070, but it is expected to arrive in October.

That said, it may be worth waiting to see what other custom or overclocked versions of the RTX 30 series come out given the pricey look of these early offerings from ASUS.
