Chennai-based software development company Zoho Corporation, which works with technology giants like Microsoft and Google, has launched a fully integrated software platform that brings collaboration, productivity and communication tools under one roof.

Zoho Workplace offers a uniform platform with a wide range of communication options such as email, messaging, audio and video conferencing. a cloud office suite with shared file storage; common team and collaboration paradigms built into each of the products; and AI, search, and other services spanning the entire suite.

“The nature of work has undoubtedly changed and Workplace has grown to accommodate that change,” said Vijay Sundaram, Zoho’s chief strategy officer.

More than 25 percent of Zoho Workplace’s new customers have decided to switch from Google G Suite and Microsoft.

“Collaboration platforms need to enable better business outcomes, not just productivity,” he said in a statement.

The platform costs $ 3 per user per month for the standard version and $ 6 per user per month for the professional version.

‘Zoho Workplace’ comprises nine tightly interconnected applications based on a common data model and unified through common search and AI in a dashboard so that customers can solve business problems quickly and together.

“With pre-built integrations with powerful business applications and context and continuity across applications, devices and departments, Workplace has the vision and functionality to meet today’s general business needs,” said Sundaram.

Zoho Workplace launched rapidly last quarter and now supports two million businesses with 15 million users in more than 150 countries.

“Zoho Workplace simplifies and refines communication and collaboration in a single suite not found anywhere else in the industry,” said Mark Smith, CEO and chief research officer, Ventana Research.

With the platform, users can now make audio or video calls through the app, edit document attachments in Zoho Writer, meet online with contacts, and access all email accounts through Zoho Mail.

Users can schedule recurring or one-time meetings and set multiple email reminders via the web and mobile devices. Meeting now supports 16 languages ​​and is integrated with Zoho Projects, Bookings, CRM and others.
