The pull of internet fame is getting harder and harder to resistand after Sony created that ZV-1 to support Vlogger, Canon is advancing the trend with its own EOS M50 Mark II.

The M50 Mark II is a successor to the Original M50, Sports the same 24.1 MP sensor and Digic 8 image processor, but with a few new tweaks and improvements, Including improved autofocus and eye AF for photos and videos. It even offers Support for recording vertical videos, This makes it easier for you to upload and share your content from your phone.

Just like the previous model, the EOS M50 Mark II has a 3-inch folding touchscreen with variable angle, except this time Canon added a dedicated button for video-recording, as well as a built-in self-timer that counts down from 10 (which may save you a change or two). Canon also gave the M50 Mark II the ability to send clean video through the camera’s mini HDMI port.

The biggest improvement on the M50 Mark II, however, is that when connected to Wi-Fi, you can now stream video from the camera directly to YouTube Live without the need for a dedicated capture card or recording and uploading your footage first.

Unfortunately, aside from a new white model, not much has changed on the M50 Mark II, which means you don’t get a dedicated headphone jack for audio monitoring and you still have a micro-USB port instead of USB-C.
