Logitech is launching two new gaming audio products designed for the recently announced Oculus Quest 2. One of them is called the G333 and is the first in-ear headphones from Logitech G (see picture above). The other announcement is Logitech’s G Pro wired gaming headset, an existing product that now comes with two 3.5mm cables, one long and one small, suitable for VR use. According to Logitech, it worked with Oculus to make sure they both deliver a great virtual reality experience.
The G333 earbuds contain two dynamic drivers that are engineered to provide enough detail in the bass, mids, and highs to “accurately replicate” the VR environment. They cost $ 49.99 and come with three different sizes of silicone tips. The G333 is connected via a 3.5 mm connector and you can adjust the cable length using the Velcro strips provided so that there is not too much cable in the way when immersed. They’ll be released in October and can be pre-ordered from Logitech today. (You still see “Notify Me” on the Oculus Store page.)
For the $ 99 G-Pro headset, which is now available for pre-order through Oculus, Logitech has “the same core audio technology” as the original Pro, according to Logitech, but with a custom-length cable that connects the port Oculus Quest 2 makes it easier to connect to the device without an unwieldy cable in the way.
