Want to get better at eSports? In that case, you should invest in a high-end gaming PC that lets you play games at a higher frame rate. Now it may seem a bit superficial that you need better hardware for a good performance in eSports. However, in a demo video shared by NVIDIA, they prove that this could be an important aspect.
NVIDIA had theorized that a higher FPS could lead to a better performance of players, and now they prove in the above demo video that this is the case. For unknowns, a higher frame rate means that more pictures will be displayed on the screen in one second. For this reason, videos played at 60 fps look much smoother than 30 fps.
According to NVIDIA, this is important when playing games, as higher FPS also mean that tearing the screen is less dramatic compared to lower FPS. The smoother animation also reduces the effect of ghosting, and in some cases can even allow players to spot the enemy sooner than players playing at lower frame rates.
This means that players can theoretically react faster and aim more accuracy. That said, the best hardware does not necessarily make you a better player, as other factors play a role. However, if you are looking for a way to improve, this could be one of the options.
