The price of Apple shares rises 3% per day before the Apple event

Mumbai: Apple shares rose nearly 3 percent on the Monday ahead of the tech giant’s major event scheduled for Tuesday as speculation ripe the company might make a series of product announcements at the highly anticipated event.

The stock rose 2.42 percent to $ 114.71 early Monday while Nasdaq Composite was up nearly 2 percent to 11,069 points.

Apple is expected to hold a major event called “Time Flies” on Tuesday, which will feature a variety of new products and updates. The event will take place live at 10 p.m. Pacific Times or 10:30 p.m. IST and will be available to view on the company’s website.

The event will be held practically this year in light of the Covid-1

9 pandemic.

Will it be a launch of iPhone 12, Apple Watch Series 6, or new iPads?

We’ll have to wait until tomorrow to know, but according to media reports, the tech major may not be introducing a new iPhone at the event, but possibly a new Apple Watch.

While the announcement of the event on Apple’s website does not include any details about the announcements, the media invitation is tagged “Time Flies,” which has sparked speculation that the announcement may be related to the Apple Watch rather than iPhones.

Previously, Bloomberg reported that the tech giant won’t launch until October. The company has also been reported to be preparing new high-end and low-end Apple watches, as well as a redesigned iPad Air with a full screen.

Several other media reports have also indicated that the company may add features like blood oxygen monitoring and longer battery life to the new Apple Watch. Few believe the company could launch a new iPad or iPad Air.

Last month, Apple crossed the $ 2 trillion mark in terms of market cap, making it the first US company to do so.
