The animation industry is currently in a phase a small statement how it finally, finally, really, finally seems to realize that its color characters can be expressed as easily by color actors as by white ones.
According to Weekly entertainment, The simpsons is the latest animated show to make the change. Earlier this year, Hank Azaria finally resigned from his role as an Indian character Apu after much criticismand now the show will also cast the entire cast of Black again, including Carl Carlson, Lou and Dr. Hibbert.
In a statement, the show’s producers didn’t do much to explain anything. They just said, “Forward, The simpsons will no longer have white actors who don’t speak white characters. ” Because of me.
family Guy also makes some new versions, with actor Mike Henry stepping down from the role of Cleveland Brown. “I love this character, but colored people should play colored characters,” he wrote on twitter. “Therefore I will withdraw from the role.”
G / O Media can receive a commission
Which is great again. It’s wonderful to see how white people learn from mistakes and try to do better in the future, even if it’s just a few cartoons. Although the speed at which all of these roles have been cast, the harsh mood of people has to do something that they knew was questionable until they realized they could no longer ignore criticism. After all, it’s not like these problems went unnoticed until two weeks ago, you know?
Now that this has been resolved, these large media companies may be able to use their clout and money to help us disappoint the police.
