According to Dr. Richard Bright, a whistleblower who first publicly testified on Thursday, suggested that the US government manipulate information about whether N95 masks work against the spread of the coronavirus in public. The deception was an attempt to avoid bottlenecks and keep masks available to US health workers, but it has likely had a nationwide impact, making many people believe that all masks are useless or even harmful during a pandemic. Bright’s testimony is the first confirmation by a senior official that the U.S. government actively tried to spread false information about N95 masks during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Dr. Bright told the House Health Subcommittee on Thursday about his attempts to warn others at the Ministry of Health and Human Services of the imminent lack of masks in January and early February when the novel coronavirus spread outside of China. Bright said the meeting officials only said they would change the CDC’s recommendations to keep the public from buying masks.

“I indicated that we know there will be a critical shortage of these deliveries. We have to do something to boost production, ”said Dr. Bright, the former top vaccine specialist at HHS, about a meeting with HHS representatives on February 7th.

“They said that if we find that there is a deficiency, we will simply change the CDC guidelines to better inform people who should not be wearing these masks would keep these masks for our healthcare workers, ”said Dr. Bright out.

“My answer was,” I can’t believe you can sit and say that with a straight face, “said Bright.” That was absurd. “

The damned revelation came to light during the polling of Florida Democratic MP Kathy Castor. Dr. Bright, who was forced out of his role at HHS by Trump cronies campaigning for the HHS Use of hydroxychloroquinethe federal government has said since 2007 that the country would face a lack of masks in the event of a pandemic. And the government has reviewed this assessment every year since 2007 and came to the same conclusion: we need more masks.

Bright often used the term “respirators” in his testimony, which refers to masks with a high degree of protection, such as: For example, 3M’s N95 mask, although the word is often confused with “ventilators,” which is something completely different.

Instead of simply saying to the Americans that masks are helpful but should be reserved for healthcare workers, the United States government tried to deceive its citizens. The problem with this strategy, of course, is that Americans will only remember being told that masks won’t work once companies like 3M ramp up and masks are in abundance.

On March 2, the U.S. General Surgeon Dr. Jerome Adams told the public that masks are simple did not work when used by ordinary people.

“Seriously people – stop buying masks!” Adams tweeted in early March when the coronavirus killed at least six people in the United States. “They are NOT effective in preventing the general public from getting #Coronavirus, but if healthcare providers cannot get them to care for sick patients, they and our communities will be at risk! “

It is now recognized in the US healthcare industry that masks help reduce the spread of the coronavirus when used by everyone. The N95 is the gold standard for protection. Dr. Adams has since changed his mind and admitted that people should wear masks, but has not advocated that the general public wear N95 masks, which are still in short supply.

Public health officials in places like Hong Kong and Taiwan warned in January that masks would help fight the spread of the disease and were an integral part of their strategies to contain the virus, as well as widespread testing and contact tracking. But many public health officials in the United States, largely CDC-based, insisted that masks were nothing more than a health security theater that only gave people the illusion of protection.

“Please take care of yourself when you are sick. If you go to a crowded place, put on a mask, even if you are not sick, because others, even if they have a cough or sneeze label, may still contact you. “Dr. Gabriel Leung, Founding Director of the WHO Collaborative Center for Epidemiology and Infectious Disease Control said at a press conference in Hong Kong on 21th January, in comments that Gizmodo covered at the time.

The entire 6-hour certificate from Dr. Bright is available on Youtubeand it’s pretty damned. The long and the short: The Trump regime still has no plan to fix this health crisis – a crisis that other countries are dealing with much, much better.
