- The Vivo Watch starts this month.
- In a Weibo post, Vivo confirmed the wearable’s launch date and revealed part of its design.
- The wearable will be unveiled on September 22nd.
The Vivo Watch will make its official debut next week, Vivo confirmed in a Weibo post. In a post on the Chinese social network, the company revealed the date in a flyer and also teased part of the device itself.
When you turn up the gamma on the dark image, the visible area of the Vivo watch contains two buttons that protrude from the watch’s seemingly circular case. It is reminiscent of alleged live-action footage of the Vivo Watch published by Leaker Digital Chat Station.
The leaker also showed that two sizes with slightly different designs are expected. The larger 46mm version has more recessed buttons, while the 42mm variant is similar to the Galaxy Watch 3. The Vivo Watch is also said to contain smarts for health monitoring in the form of a blood oxygen saturation monitor and a heart rate monitor.
Vivo’s endorsement of its wearability comes amid a plethora of watch launches from BBK brands. Oppo and Realme have also unveiled their own smartwatches in the past few weeks, with the latter potentially launching another pretty soon. Judging by the certification lists, the OnePlus watch is likely to appear shortly too.
The Vivo Watch will debut on September 22nd at 7:30 p.m. CST (7:30 a.m. ET).
