The US is a huge country, and as such it would take a long time to cross it. In fact, it was estimated that a total journey from coast to coast would take between 4 and 6 days if you were driving 8 hours a day. However, three boys – Arne Toman, Douglas Tabbutt and Berkeley Chadwick – have made it in a potentially new record time of 27 hours and 25 minutes.

If you did not know, there is a "record" known as the Cannon Ball Run. This is a cross-country trip from New York to Los Angeles, where the previous record was 28 hours and 50 minutes, which means that the new record has been able to drive about 1

.5 hours less than the previous time , However, we should note that this is as impressive as it is, it is illegal simply because it involves a lot of fast driving and breaks many speed limits. According to Toman, this was achieved through the use of various navigation instruments and police countermeasures to avoid speeding and roadblocks. These include the use of radar detectors, CB radios, binoculars, aircraft detection systems and Waze.

They also rely on a heavily prepared Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG, whose exhaust, along with two turbochargers in the engine that made the car possible, were upgraded to produce more than 800 horsepower.
