The game is from Ubisoft Quebec. Two senior members of the studio who worked on the game were accused of encouraging bullying in the studio, according to a report Gamasutra. Ubisoft did not address these allegations Gamasutra‘s story still in a follow-up request for comment from Kotaku in this week. Today’s debut of the game was not hosted by the people mentioned in this article, but by Game Director Scott Phillips, who led the development of the games Assassin’s Creed Syndicate and Assassin’s Creed Odyssey.

Ahead of today’s event, Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot was featured in a video by the publisher apologizing for the misconduct that occurred within the company. Something similar happened the day before Ubisoft’s final forward, following the resignation of Ubisoft’s chief creative officer and other key figures within the company following a surge of allegations and reports in July.
