Verizon announced today that it will automatically add an additional 15 GB of LTE data to all consumer and small business plans to support its customers who are currently working from home.
The 15 GB of data will be available from March 25 through April. Verizon will automatically add 15 GB of data to postpaid, prepaid, and Jetpack owners. For those with an unlimited data plan, the additional data can be used as hotspot data.
Verizon offers the additional data for all wireless consumer tariffs available since 2015 and for small business customers with 50 lines or less.
Verizon has also waived excess costs and has promised not to end the service for customers who are currently unable to pay.
