Volkswagen will probably never sell a new diesel vehicle in the US for reasons that some consider obvious and reasonable. But they are still hot in Europe, so VW stays tuned, and the youngest really shoots for the stars.
Volkswagen will bring its new Touareg V8 TDI to the Geneva Motor Show 201
The Touareg V8 TDI looks not much different from the outsideexcept for a V8 badge on the front grille and probably another rear (VW only provided front-end shots before his show -Debut). , On the inside, however, there are two different styles available – Elegance focuses on metals and cool colors, while Atmosphere focuses on wood and warmer colors.
This Touareg also receives additional standard equipment, including air suspension, an electric tailgate, automatic headlights and dimmable mirrors. The Innovision Cockpit combines a 12-inch display with a monstrous 15-inch infotainment screen. There are also a variety of driver assistance systems, such as a night vision camera, four-wheel steering and a forward-facing cross traffic assistant.
Unfortunately, the Touareg can never return to the US. The three-row Atlas will be the largest car that the automaker sells in the US. The Touareg was never really a bestseller in the US, thanks to a high price and only two rows of seats. Sales have fallen steadily since 2012, an annual turnover of 11,276 units was achieved. After all, the automaker has reduced its overall presence in the US. But it still lives in China, Europe and our hearts.
