The company’s virtual event has only just begun, and we don’t expect it the iPhone 12 Tim Cook first informed us that the Apple Watch Series 6 and new additions to the iPad family of tablets would be the highlight, although we still await some software and subscription service updates. While Apple confirmed that the new iPhone will be available “a few weeks later” than the usual launch in mid-September, our well-founded assumption for the event will be either October 13th or 14th.

But it is too alluded to augmented realityThis could refer to a time-of-flight sensor supposedly coming to the iPhone this year, like the one on the iPad Pro 2020, or improved ARKit capabilities in the next iPad Air.

It is official: The Apple Store is not availableSo it has to be a start day. The company holds a virtual launch event today and while we don’t expect the iPhone 12 To be announced, this is expected to be revealed Apple Watch Series 6 and new additions to the iPad family of tablets. The event is scheduled for September 15 at 10 a.m. (1 p.m. ET, 6 p.m. UK) and Apple will be streaming the event on its website.

The updated Apple Watch, which is the successor to the Apple Watch Series 5 and will run WatchOS 7Rumor has it that battery life is longer, sleep tracking and blood oxygen readings have been updated. The iPad Air will likely need an update too. Improvements could include a bigger display, faster processor (possibly the A13 Bionic chipset), and possibly a USB Type-C connection instead of Apple’s Lightning connector.

As for the iPhone 12, the company hasn’t released any information on its next phone launch yet, although we wouldn’t be surprised if Apple didn’t show a quick test during the September 15 event.
