Wolverine’s location in Fortnite explained

Wolverine is a wandering optional NPC boss fight in Fortnite, which means that he can roam freely in a specific area on the Fortnite map. It also means there is no guarantee that he will be in the same spot every game.

The areas Wolverine migrates are Weeping Woods and Slurpy Swamp.

Where you’re most likely to find Wolverine.

Finding Wolverine can take a long time. Since there is only one Wolverine per game, keep in mind that another player may have killed him first. When that happens, you need to go and start a new match to defeat Wolverine.

Wolverine isn’t tied to any part of Weeping Woods. So try to get a quick overview of the area, either by choppa or by moving quickly from place to place.

Wolverine sometimes spawns near this location.

When it comes to Slurpy Swamp, however, Wolverine prefers to stay near the sewage plant. So if you can’t find it in Weeping Woods, see if it’s down on the pipes.

Wolverine can take a walk to the factory.

We recommend looking for Wolverine in the early stages of the map as you won’t have to worry about the storm and weeping Woods and Slurpy Swamp will hopefully be less crowded.

Remember – you have the remainder of season four to complete this challenge! You can always try another day if too many players are hunting Wolverine too!

Fortnite Season 4 is here and has brought the Marvel Universe with it, including Thor, Groot, Storm, Mystique and Iron Man. There’s also a new Victory Umbrella to earn, new map locations, and a special Wolverine skin to unlock. The challenges are to investigate scratch marks, find the image of the loading screen on a Quinject Patrol site, launch Wolverine’s Trophy and the Sentinel Hands. Make sure you know how to drive and use the gas stations too! Don’t forget to raid a Quinjet landing pad or the collection site! Eventually, you will have new challenges to complete, including driving boats under the colored bridges and visiting Panther’s Prowl.

How to beat Wolverine in Fortnite is explained

If you’re not properly prepared, defeating Wolverine in Fortnite can be difficult.

Before you even think about chasing him, it’s best to collect some powerful weapons, ideally at least a shotgun, and make sure your shield is as full as possible.

When you’re ready, head over to Weeping Woods and Slurpy Swamp to find Wolverine. It might be a good idea to either take a car or a choppa as it will allow you to cover land faster, increasing your chance of encountering Wolverine.

When you find the mutant, make sure you are far away before making your first attack. That way you can do a ton of damage as Wolverine gets closer and the fight gets a lot harder.

Keep a good distance from Wolverine.

We recommend using a shotgun for those first few attacks and then switching to a faster weapon than an assault rifle as this should hopefully allow you to contain a good amount of damage while being safe from Wolverine’s claws.

The moment Wolverine is around you should immediately start jumping and dodging his attacks, as everyone is pretty powerful. This means that Wolverine can easily kill you in a few hits if you’re not careful.

You have to keep moving and shoot to defeat Wolverine. If you are a building contractor, try to create walls to block his way so you can rest for a moment. However, don’t be surprised if he manages to break them down very easily.

You have to dodge Wolverine.

You will also need to make sure that you have fully defeated Wolverine to complete this challenge. So if you’ve knocked down Wolverine, keep shooting him until he’s dead. You will want to do this quickly as Wolverine can recover from a rainfall period.

Defeating Wolverine can take a good number of tries, especially when you run into other players, but if you stick with it you will eventually beat him!

Eventually, completing this challenge will unlock the Wolverine skin.
