Xbox All Access is a game’s answer to a phone plan that lets you cash out your console month after month with a bonus Game Pass Ultimate. Most Xbox All Access users get a good deal to upgrade to the next generation, but those who bought the budget-friendly Xbox One S All-Digital (XB1SAD) console will have to pay an additional $ 20 fee.
Xbox All Access users upgrading from an Xbox One S or X can trade in their old console for their contract after 18 monthly payments have been reached, and then immediately switch to a new Xbox Series X or Series S contract. Customers upgrading from All-Digital will be required to pay an additional one-time upgrade fee of $ 20, which is included with the initial payment for a Series X or Series S, as mentioned in the Xbox Upgrade FAQ .
The fee is in addition to a monthly rate increase for users moving to a next generation contract. If the monthly payback for the affordable all-digital Xbox One console is only $ 20, the Xbox Series S is $ 25 per month while the Series X is $ 35.
