The coronavirus pandemic can complicate things if you are considering adopting a dog. How do you find the perfect puppy when you can’t even leave your home?
There may be a solution now. The dog food brand Pedigree is working on setting up dog options via zoom meetings.
It really makes sense. We all live from Zoom, FaceTime or Google Hangouts – this is how we connect with friends and family – so why not to get in touch with puppies?
This week Pedigree is partnering with the Nashville Humane Association to hold zoom adoption meetings on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. The meetings take place at 5 p.m. Local time. Here you can register for one of the zoom meetings.
Pedigree also pays the adoption fees for the event, so every adoption is completely free. Interest in adoption and support appears to be increasing – in some of the hardest hit regions, almost all shelters were emptied at the start of the coronavirus pandemic.
The brand is working with the Nashville Humane Association this week, but has posted on its website that more accommodations are coming soon.
